The UFO: Aftershock version runs a lot smoother (as compared to the UFO: Aftermath editon which gave me endless video problems). This game is more inclusive of the features that made the XCom series great. You get the squad management, the booty of the raids, there are even allies and enemies within the human race. The combat system is even an improvement on the old system. It is called SAS (Simutaneous Action System) and provides all the control a squad needs to adjust to combat challenges. There is a good evolving story line in Aftershock and has plenty of challenges. The idea of taking back the world and repelling further invasions is great. The game has also added a 'career and training' system for obtaining new soldier skills that gives the game a RPG feeling. I would recommend to all!! I look forward to playing UFO: Afterlight next and then, hosanna - Sid Meier is going to do XCOM remake.
