Love the game, hate the tutorial.

Compared to the previous UFC games, this one has a much more manageable ground and submission system. The fight controls are the same, but in the submissions you now have the opportunity to actively defend against submissions, and actively apply submissions through the radial puzzle thing. I like it.

What I don't like, in fact I absolutely hate, is that you are constantly interrupted while fighting by the idiot advice dialogs. This is incredibly annoying and throws me off my game. I think this is only through the tutorial phase but I don't know how many pro fights you have to fight to get out of tutorial. I am on my 4th fight, and still get the idiot advice that interrupts my moves. For that reason, I gave the game a 8.0 instead of a 9.0.

This game is definitely worth the money I paid for it. It is addicting and fun.

[UPDATE] Well, I gave this game an 8.0 but gamespot is forcing it to 9.0 (at least it says 9.0 on my screen next to my review). Not sure what's going on there.
