This is just a big UFC hype product, but misses some integral parts in being good for MMA.
For example when creating a fighter you have to choose a Taunt(s) and victory celebration all to drive the ego that is the UFC. What if I want to be stoic like Fedor?! Also DW 's involvement in the game is such a UFC hype ridden aspect that just tries to continue the monopoly which is why I won't buy this game.
Gameplay is great though! A steep learning curve to really become fluid in all the aspects of the game, but very well done. Career Mode is way less tedious and the menu system is a lot better. There are just a few tid bits during the menu system that are annoying like accidentally pressing a button here or there that forces you to do something over etc. As if the developers didn't test out the practicality of their own product or develop a menu tree on paper first.
Submissions are still a pain in the ass.
Graphics are good too, nice detail and fluid movement.
Online play is still annoying, choppy and inconsistent.
Overall not even a must play for MMA fans just UFC Affliction wearing MMA pundits.... I'd wait for EA Sports MMA for that innovative difference that UFC missed this year.
