UEFA EURO 2008 User Review
Uefa Euro 08 features some great moments, but otherwise nothing special.

- Difficulty:
- Hard
- Time Spent:
- 20 to 40 Hours
- The Bottom Line:
- "Worth playing"
So this is one of those games which EA releases in the same year as its mentor. What I mean is even though EA released FIFA 08 at the end of 07,they created this one for the european championships taking place in Ausrtia-Switzerland.
First of all, though the graphics and game-play have improved a lot from 08,there's nothing special in this one.No '' special new '' features, just that you can now take free-kicks by just moving the left analog stick down-to-up in the correct manner. The results are good but not always productive. There is a new game mode called '' European Championship '' where you can guide a team through various challenges, including Be-A-Pro challenges and mid-match challenges where you'll have to win the match from where the game starts, maybe in the second-half,maybe a few goals down. You'll get points in the matches by doing certain thing, mostly by scoring goals and earning corners, but successful slide-tackles also do the trick.
The commentary team has changed with Martin Tyler still retaining his seat, along with new guy Andy Townsend. They aren't as good as the previous team though.
You'll enjoy playing this game for a while, but when the difficulty starts piling up and you see you have only the european teams to play with,it gets pretty boring.

Good but definitely not the best in the series

The game made after the great football event of the year, but unfortunatelly it's a downgrade from FIFA 08.
