EA Sports introduces another soccer sim-this time only with European National Teams. Your main objective is-of course-to be crowned champions of Europe, starting from the qualifying round and reaching the grand EURO 2008 final in Vienna.
The gameplay is not improved at all-although it keeps some good elements of the same year's title, FIFA 08. It also introduces the kick stick, which is supposed to help you scoring free kicks and penalties, but I don't think it really helps.
UEFA Euro 2008 gives you the chance to become a legend of European Football by competing in the all-new European Campaign, which is a good addition but it could be even better someway.
Another major drawback is the lack of authenticity from some national squads which makes the game less realistic.
A new feature which is good, though, is that you can take a look to other games' results while playing a game, which is maybe to inform you if you do qualify for example if you're in a difficult table situation.
I finally think that the game is good, but you should try the demo or rent it first to take a look on your own.

The game made after the great football event of the year, but unfortunatelly it's a downgrade from FIFA 08.
