Shoot up or you'll be shot down! ;^)
This game is sort of those which you scroll up and you've got to shoot whatever pops up in your way. An old style of arcade games with very nice 3D envnmnt, objects and things and interesting soundtracks. (Although if you play it on a new PC or a new Windows you won't hear a damn thing as the game won't recognize new devices or new drivers, but it's cool yet and worthy to play it even with no sounds)
The game's got 3 modes (1 mode is secret) and ability to play with 2 players. Scenarios will change a bit depending on which mode you pick up.
The modes are:
Full Mode, with Saving Option enabled. You may save your progress at the end of every level. You may also upgrade your spaceship after every level you finish so that you'll enjoy yourself with new ships, weapons and gears.
Arcade Mode in which you've got to gear yourself up during gameplay by picking up life bonouses and other upgrade objects. You can never save your game and if you quit your game you'll have to begin from the start of your chosen episode.
Super Arcade Mode is a secret mode and you've got to enter cheat codes to enable it. It's the same as Arcade Mode but there's a change. You can't guess what'll happen when you pick up a bonous. It's joyful too. You can't save in this mode either.
The two new episodes in Windows-Compatible Tyrian are harder andmore challenging even if you set the difficulty to Normal and less upgrade objects would be available while playing any Arcade Mode.
The game will run under Windows XP with no bug and no crash and there's no need for special hardware to play it on.
