I'll admit I was extremely skeptical, but Two Worlds 2 is not as buggy as its made out to be.
The critic reviews say that the voice acting and technical hang ups are huge drawbacks of this game but they are not nearly as bad as the reviews make them seem so I am going to try to best describe my experiences. I am roughly 20 hours in and I have not had any system freezes. Nor missing character faces like I've encountered with Oblivion or even Fallout. Visually Two worlds 2 has run pretty smoothly. The environments graphics are very nice looking, however it does have a blurred look in the distance which some people may not like. The characters look decent too, but their animations during dialogue don't look very natural. The voice acting is not quite Sacred 2 terrible but is about the same quality as Prototype. The biggest drawback in my opinion is that during dialogue, the characters voice volume can jump way up and down. It is not with every character, or even with every line that the effected character says, but when it happens its kind of startling. However, if you're tv or receiver has dynamic range control it does help, haha. The story is somewhat dull, but interesting enough to be entertained. The camera system can also be a bit touchy like it was in ratchet and clank games. The combat can be pretty fun especially in the higher difficulties. It somewhat reminds me of Daemon's Souls but obviously more forgiving. A good mix of hand to hand combat and ranged combat, with a decent amount of opportunities for stealth kills. The magic system is a bit confusing at first but is pretty cool when you get the hang of things. It is pretty customizable with different effect depending on which cards you mix.
I know not everyone can get past its minor quirks but I think this game is a must try for anyone looking for an action rpg.
