finally a new strategy game will it meet the standards of starcraft 2, even though the graphics aren't that good?
Pass. The RTS genre is getting crowded, unless I see something awesome like COH2, I'm getting a bit burned out on these generic clones. I bet there's plenty of cut scene voice acting too: "Gotta escort us through the valley, sir!" Oh brother.

no warcraft 3...its a RTS that the World of Warcraft is based on...came out in like 2002 or 3
meh... first 30 sec made me hope. even though that's probably only beta, the rest is seems just overly generic
@DJEvo2k In any case, Godlikan seemed like he was commenting on either the look of it or the play style of capturing resource points like DoW 40k.
@DJEvo2k @tazzy2006 @Godlikan I meant the idea and look of a space marine, which originally could be surmised to come from the book starship troopers, but the look of the armor (bulbous shoulder pads and armor) was made in 40k tabletop miniatures (1987 according to wiki) far before starcraft 1 or warcraft 1 for that matter (published 1994 also from wiki).

Er, no. Starcraft 2 derived its ideas from Starcraft 1. Starcraft 1 derived its ideas from Warcraft 1/2/3, which in turn derived their ideas in part from games like Command and Conquer. My point is: nearly everything "got their ideas" from something else. "...Just letting you know."
