Seems a shame, as Gamespot review states it's very similar to Tropico 3. In my eyes it's the same game, rebranded and offering "expansion packs" to make the game more of a game. Still has the gift of being entertaining, just feels after playing a few maps that your wasting your time knowing you have spent days on the past games doing basically the same thing.

Difficulty settings don't really make the game much harder. And to be fair I guess that's how the game has always been.

I don't see the point of adding more foreign countries to the mix, if you upset the Chinese for instance you know it won't make much of a difference to your game. Seems to just over complicate the situation.

Oh and traffic is still a problem in the game and winds me up lol, I like to have a well moved city and all you seen is jams with people then walking. Will be shooting them all next time they decide to walk. Plus side for the game I guess.

If Tropico 4 had more to offer, as in more than it has I would be happy. Still the game offers good visuals, it's very entertaining. A good time waster. But if you have played the title before don't expect to show any for of expression on your face when moving to this one. Plus consider the price.
