Tropico 3 is an effective simulation/political strategy game, with beautiful graphics and a strong, lengthy campaign.

User Rating: 9 | Tropico 3 PC
Aim of the Game - You are God, essentially. You have complete control over a little island and whether you want to be remembered as a saint by your people, or as a tyrannical monster, it's completely up to you Good Points: Firstly, the graphics are beautiful, with full textures and perfect attention to detail. The campaign is long, emmersive and full of different goals to complete. It is somewhat addictive which is always good in a game. As a simulation it works well with the concept similar to that of SimCity, whilst the political edge gives Tropico 3 that unique flair Bad Points: The game's interface is slightly daunting at first and the tutorial offers very little help. Gameplay can get somewhat frustrating at times. The customization options for your avatar are severely limited. General Consensus: Tropico 3 is a fantastically made political simulation game, with so much to do and a lengthy, immersive campaign, you will not be bored by it. Once you get used to the muddled interface you'll enjoy it even more. PS the PC version is recommended over the Xbox 360 version :) Graphics - 9 Sound - 9 Gameplay - 9 Quality - 8 Overall - 9
