Tron 2.0 is a very unique game that stands out from the crowd.
Tron 2.0's gameplay is solid and unique but it suffers from a couple of issues. The first issue is the large number of bottomless pit areas. This may frustrate players as it forces them to stay on a set path and doesn't allow them very much freedom to get from point A to point B. The second issue is that the text that is displayed near the aim reticule is too small to read effectively at times. While this is not critical to the actual gameplay it would have been nice to be able to actually read what's going on at times with the system that the player may be on. Aside from those issues the core gameplay is simple and unique. Players will use a verity of weapons but while limiting cover your basic sniper rifle and shotgun. There are various other types weapons present in Tron 2.0. What's interesting is that each weapon does not have its individual ammo like in most First person shooters but instead all weapons use the main characters energy to use all the weapons.
Tron 2.0's audio is ok but not perfect. Weapon sound effects match the theme nicely but the NPC's voices almost all sound alike. This is a bit of a letdown because one would think that each program would have its own voice that would match its programming but then again maybe not.
Overall Tron 2.0 is an interesting game that has a very unique feel and gameplay that enables it to stand out from the rest of the crowd.
