They brought back Tribes 2....but better?

Tribes 2 was the best multiplayer game I've ever played. Then a few years ago, there was a Tribes 3 or something...it was horrible. They raped the entire feel of the game and turned it into another UT or something. But now....at last....retribution!

Tribes Ascend is quite a bit more beautiful than Tribes 2. They incorporated an XP system like Black Ops has where you have to earn pretty much everything (or pay money and it's yours without working for it). Somehow, though, it isn't quite as fun as Tribes 2 was. The only real negative to this game is that it takes a long time to gain experience....which you need in order to buy skills or weapon eligibility. You can buy experience with real world money....sound familiar? I was a little annoyed at first but really 10 or 20 dollars gets you a pretty decent head start.

I love that they brought back all the awesome-ness of our beloved Tribes game. Do yourself a favor though...hook up with a serious team (clan, guild..whatever), practice tactics with them, and dominate....the game becomes so much more if you have teamwork working. See you out there ****
