A lot of room for improvement

I couldn't get into this game (partially due to bad intro directions on how to play). Too many options in the interfaces, and i hate unnecessary clicking. The maps can grow pretty good in size. Very similar to a civ type of view, but without being able to control any sort of overhead angle. Grpahics are not really a plus. you have to scroll over things to tell what they are, but i guess if i played it a little more i would start recognizing things better.

The whole point of the game is to build roads and such to make connections. Not exactly the funnest thing, considering this is AUtomated in Civilization, allowing you to actually control things worthwile. Granted there is a little intrigue as far as the historical part goes, but the game is still shallow. I would like to see a better interface, nicer graphics, and start out with campaigns that focus on smaller areas first, like a single city, then two cities, a state, then a country, then continents. That would give this game a nice start instead of being overwhelmed in the beginning.

In the end this game could be a lot worse. I'm sure some people out there will love it, but it's just not ready for me yet.
