For a good time... this game does have it's flaws and lack of ammo at times, but grows on you like like dark energon and provides a story line that even Cup could tell to Grimlock and the Dinobots. The game is based just before the great war on the Transformers home planet of Cybertron, it's a planet of technology... so it's not colorful (I got over it and so should you.) Now both sides are playable... and satisfyingly so, but extra characters... are DLC... and are only playable in multiplayer. They do how ever fix the ammo problem in multiplayer and your given many game modes to choose from, but for people that don't pay for the DLC... your stuck looking at the same old map for either side, over and over again... that's if your hosting the match! Awards are fun to earn and the only thing I can complain about is in Escalation, you often find your self over run by forces... and as the waves get worse... it all depends on the team you have. You'd think more then four players could do this mode, but of course not... and there should be an option for how many people you want to join in at that time.
It has given me hours of great game play... and sure the melee attack... sucks if you don't hit them directly in front of you, but it offers more then meets the eye. Tansformations can stop you from loosing health... and avoiding melee attacks, but all in all... I'd say it's worth buying for the multiplayer experience.
