Not exactly what you saw in the cinemas...
Transformers is an okay game that may keep you busy for a weekend or so, its preety fun with good destruction and medicore story depth as it loosly follows the plot of the film. Now one thing a loved in the game was the scale of destruction, absolutly anything was destructable wether it be a building or a park or even a power plant this game delivers your taste of destroying stuff.
Transformers: The Game is very short (well, duhh.. its a movie game what good you expect) and you find it easy but very frustrating such as the fact that all these machines of doom carry big guns with big bullets that have big effects, but 90% of the time they are useless. For example in a boss fight, lets say Megatron (WHo looks incredibly f**ked up in this game) you dont shoot him do death insted you have to "pick up" something in front of you ( which never works 50% of the time) and throw it at Megatron to "lower his defense" and then you must repeat a 3 hit combo until he flys of. Rinse and repeat. There really not much depth to it.
At the end of the day transformers the game is something which you can describe as overhyped(well by me ofcourse) and almost but not quite.
