TRANSFORMERS!!! "Chosing sides is just the beginning"... of a VERY short Campaign, with barely any variety of levels, and Robots to play.

First of all, the game was too short. Each Side (autobot or decepticon) only has like 4 actual chapters, each STUFFED with 4 seperate levels each. The little "challenges", are BARELY worth playing, and don't offer much replay value. Each side has an additional 2 levels, but you can't free roam in them. Oh, and don't even get me STARTED on the "in-game cutscenes" they are SOOOO Lame, I wish they were more like the "before-main menu" cutscene, it actually, LOOKED good, and had MUSIC! the in-game cutscenes don't. Even the animation stinks.

The Game itself, however, looks great! Even WITHOUT the XBOX 360-like graphics. Animation is pretty good too.

I Think the BEST thing about this game, is the destruction factor. EVERYTHING on the streets is destructible, even billboards can be knocked off of the buildings. The buildings themselves can't really be destroyed all the way. They just get reduced to a bit of a skeletal form, the ydon't even fall down. In the big city area, the BOTTOM have looks destroyed, but the TOP part doesn't get scratched, yet you still can't climb the building after you've destroyed it, (kind of).

As I stated in the beginning of the review, you don't get to be ALL the characters that were in the movie. You don't get to be the TANK dude, or the CRANE dude, or that yellow car autobot, that looks like a jeep, or ambulance or something, witch was kind of dissapointing to me. They don't let you be enough of each character, and bumblebee, they let you be TOO much! You can't somehow change to other TRANSFORMERS whenever you want, so whatever robot you played that last mission with, you're stuck with.

I do however have to give the game some credit. They did pretty good on the destruction, and the robots, and vehicles, are easy to control either, if your get used to the, or if you have a gamepad. It's VERY fun to free roam, and racing along the highway booting other vehicles off the highway is also a great pleasure, And who could forget the classic RAMPAGE OF DESTRUCTION!!! The music, AWSOME!!!!!! I still have some of the music tracks playing in my head from time to time. It's just Cool, intense, and it even fits that particualar mission, or moment that you're in. I never did understand the movie that well, have the time, I didn't know what the heck was going on half the time! But this game follows th story plot MUCH better, and much more explainable, than the movie, And so you're not bored most of the time, they give you DRONES to fight! that way, you're not bored just racing to something with absolutly NO resistance, AND you're not pinned against most of the game's Main Character all the time.

If they just spent a LITTLE more time on the Crappy in-game cutscenes, and the over-all length of the game, (and a bigger variety of TRANSFORMERS) I would've given this game a WAY higher rating...
