Better than the last, but with some solid problems. Very B grade.

K, so my brother bought this ages ago, got stuck on it, so I took over and played it for a bit.
I'll just give a few thoughts. Not my usual epic five page review.
Weapon system is a great improvement from the last transformers game. Though, the controls are even worse. Vehicle control is terrible; it's like trying to get a small woodland creature to go straight via shouting obscenities at it.
Missions are repetitive, usually not very challenging. The graphics are mediocre. Though, there are very few bugs, and jams are infrequent compared to most games of similar standard. Upgrading and points are a good bonus, and it's good to have a few character-unique stats. Things like health, regeneration, weapon damage.
Regeneration: what the frick was going through the makers' minds. There is a system set up, wear in the midst of a battle, you are able to flee in vehicle mode down a street away from the action, and you are instantly healed up, so long as you are not being shot at. This makes things both easy and hard. Easy, because salvation can always be found with a click of a button and one hundred horrendous metres of travel down some random alley way. Hard, because when you are cornered, like a traumatized animal that's had too many curses screamed at it, you are doomed.
Enemy AI is better than in the first game. Certain units have particular strategies and plan B's. There's those dudes who sit of buildings and throw stray bullets at you and just wallow in their own uselessness, there's the ones that paralyze you and flame-thrower you into oblivion, there's the miniature cute ones that weave in and out of cover, nailing you with their cute little pea shooters, the big yellow ones with a billion different weapons that stand in one place, like trigger happy paraplegics. And… Wells that's about all, apart from the bosses, they're the only baddies you come across, really… (this is only applying to the Autobot side of the game, I'm sure there's some more baddies waiting for me in the Decepticon.)
Alwells, I guess that's all, bai. Thanks for reading.
