I'm confused about how to get the "Informer" award in Multiplayer.
It says, "Mark XX unique enemies with the Orbital Pistol in a single file". What does this mean? What constitutes a "unique enemy"? I somehow got 7 out of 15 towards this award, but it hasn't gone up since. Anyone have any help?

I thought it said "in a single life"???
I have a low def TV, so I could be wrong,
But really I just marked each member of the other team a couple times each before dying.

A "unique enemy" is each player on the other team. So basically just try to mark the whole team before dying. Or mark as many of them as you can each, respawn, and then do it all again.

You're right, Providence, it is "single life"... blame my borderline dyslexia for the screwup.
Okay, so now I know what I need to do... now I just need to figure out how on earth to survive long enough as a Scientist to tag 15 enemies...

#1 Shoot the enemy.
#2 RUN AWAY!!!!1111.
#3 Shoot another enemy.
#4 RUN AWAY!!!!!1111.
Repeat.
It's honestly kind of ridiculous challenge, because the vast majority of people aren't going to be hitting the entire enemy team on 2-3 'lives' and surviving. Which means if you want to get it, you're probably going to have to be play like a *****.

It's a bit easier than you think ;-)
You want to LOOONG range these guys, shoot them from as far away as you can so they can't retaliate (since the NCR got nerfed, you shouldn't have to worry too much about snipers)
As soon as a match starts you want to get in a spot that shows you the enemies spawn. They all funnel out of one spot, making them hard to miss.
If you have Sentry unlocked, you want it to shoot that rust beam, this also makes it easy to mark enemies when they get too close.

What was it that you said?
err, can you explain it without actually saying it (so it doesn't get censored a second time)

I used the term for a female dog censoring out all but two letters. Not only is the word used widely on T.V. and pretty much everywhere, I obscured most of it. I don't know what's worse - the person who reported it or Gamefaqs itself. Is this friggin' Sunday school?

I hear you Ice. I got flamed awhile back and told I made a stupid mistake based on one of my posts but the flamer used much more colorful language. I replied saying something like it wasn't as bad as the mistake his parents made when having him.
I got modded and when I asked why I was told because it would be offensive to his parents IF they read it. Simply amazing. I think the mods here burn books on weekends.

Wow. I mean I'm all for keeping the place clean as a lot of young kids use this site, (although I'm sure they're exposed to much worse in other places), but I think it's time to re-write the rules.

Yeah, but we all know the moderators that frequent this site (most of them anyway, some seem educated) don't use logic when it comes to moderating. I was modded a few months ago for censor bypassing despite the fact I wasn't bypassing at all. I used an actual word the moron thought was intended to bypass for a swear word.

I've been here much long than my account would suggest, there was a... snafu... when GameFAQs was absorbed by GameSpot. I should be able to get on LUE. A lot of the... troubles... with LUE came about as a reaction to mods being harsh and ignoring context.
Anyway, you don't get to be a mod unless you demonstrate a personality disorder on the autism spectrum. This is just a personal observation. I was banned once for clearly joking that I was an underage poster. I guess hu-mon context is lost on these guys.
Watch this get modded. Watch. Watch how they ignore context, something people old enough to post on these boards should have a firm grasp of.
About the pistol... sound advice in this topic.
