Has the Techvolt been upgraded during this last patch?
I just primed today (thank you double XP weekend) and I restarted Titan. I used the Techvolt with no upgrades and I think:
1) It range has improved.
2) It splits to target multiple enemies more often
3) It stronger.
4) It tracks better (It actually curve to follow an enemy who duck behind a wall.)
Am I imaging it or are you seeing this too?

Well, now that you mention it, I have noticed that I've been getting more kills with the techvolt lately. I thought my skill with it just improved, but maybe they did do something to it.

Yeah, I think so.
But after thinking about it, it might have more to do with the gear shredder homing being reduced. I've noticed I can more easily dodge gears and get closer to the scientist. Also I use the footspeed increase perk for techvolt, so that also helps with avoiding the gears at close range.

The gear shredder was recently nerfed, it's homing has been reduced and I also think they lowered the projectile speed a little

If the EDK Techvolt really is better, then I doubt it was on purpose because im sure they wouldve mentioned that they adjusted it...
either someone at High Moon secretly buffed it or the update somehow glitched and buffed the EDK Techvolt while nerfing the Gear Shredder and the Photon Burst Rifle...it can happen...Modern Warfare 3 is proof of that
