^agreed. Its not meant for close range even though I find I can still use it up close against any class and do fairly well and even I didn't feel the damage nerf was necessary but I'm not against it. It didnt really lose it's killing power so I'm still good with it as it is now...it just means that it's that much less closer to being OP

^the banner that runs at the top of the screen is what states the changes, those changes being reduced homing of the Gear Shredder (not sure if its to the level like it was before the 2nd buff, and a damage reduction to the Photon Burst Rifle
Strange, that banner is still inviting me to play Escalation. It has never mentioned the changes. I wouldn't have known about them except for this forum.

That's really weird, well maybe it changed in that small time frame since the update as I haven't played since the patch but if it's still the same when I come back and it's the same for everyone else, then I guess you have a glitches out banner up top
