Train Simulator and Baldurs gate look great. How did they enhance Baldurs gate? I thought it was perfect when it first came out.
@Shmoe82 Updated high-res graphics based on the original Infinity engine, new sound files, a new adventure, new party characters, and so forth.
Basically, it's like the HD updates of games like Monkey Island;; the same basic look and feel updated for more modern hardware.
It won't require a bleeding edge system, though. A mid-level laptop will meet system requirements just fine. This is both good and bad in that I'll be able to take it with me. That's both the good part and the bad part. I work from my laptop. Having an HD Baldur's Gate available anytime is going to make getting my work done more difficult.
Here's hoping that it's successful enough for new versions of other infinity engine games (such as Baldur's Gate 2, Icewind Dale, and Baldur's Gate 2) to be worth updating for the new engine. Especially Baldur's Gate 2. Did I mention I'm a fan of Baldur's Gate 2? It's pretty much the apex of the fantasy RPG in the low-res era, and a big part of my "second game in the series is usually best " rule of thumb. Yes, I know, Dragon Age 2, but there are always exceptions.
I'll be waiting for a GOTY or Ultimate Edition of Borderlands 2. I refuse to pay the DLC prices. I'd rather wait and get everything all in one, for alot cheaper.
@DarthLod I do agree with your jew thinking of getting the bargains, and most of the time, I would do the exact same as what you are doing. The thing is though, I loved borderlands, probably one of my fav games, and I say give them their hard-earned cash. You want them to keep making good, fluid, and solid games, give them support. Don't worry bro, I'll tell you how much ass the game kicks
2 Like Borderlands 2 is where it's at. I kinda want Torchlight 2, but I don't think I'll have enough time to play it while playing Borderlands :O

2 Like Thanks a lot for mentioning BG for a second! Of course it's not as important as Train Simulator, but a few people have played the original games.
Borderlands 2 and Street Fighter 25th Anniversary this week. Next week Dead or Alive 5.
