Trackmania DS is a great game it isn't perfect. The graphics are great for a DS game. The sound is great everything sound like it should the only problem with the sound is the soundtrack it is good but sometimes it can get annoying after trying to get a gold medal on every course. The gameplay is great but this is were it isn't perfect their are some bugs in the game were if you land on a ramp too fast your car would sometimes get stuck in the ground and then flip over and backflip off the track causing you to restart the race the way to fix this is stop pressing the "a" button just before you land on the ramp. Their is a lot to buy just in the in game shop you can buy new cars, new tracks, and new pieces of track. The editor is were you can create your own tracks and they have every single piece of track that are in the PC version is also in the DS version. Their are five modes of racing Race, Platform, Puzzle, Quick Race, and Custom. Race and Quick Race are the same from what I understand you can race on five courses in three different environments in five different difficulties (Practice, Easy, Medium, Hard, and Extreme). Platform involves going from Start to Finish with a lot of obstacles in the way. Puzzle involves having to build a track with a certain amount of pieces and the Start, Finish, and Checkpoints are in a fixed position and then you have to beat the clock. Custom is racing on any of the tracks that you created in editor.
