Oh my goodness, who expected a movie game to be so beautifully made in every way?

When you think movie games, you think games that are rushed and unsuccessful. But every once in a while comes a movie game that blows your mind with surprise. Toy Story 3 is the epitome of 'sleeper hit'. Whether it's building your own house, or exploring Andy's house, sneaking and sliding and jumping around all the nooks and crannies, you really begin to see the effort Disney and Avalanche put into this game. It's faithful to the movie, everything looks ridiculously good, the controls are smooth and simple, regardless of what platform you use, and there's just so much to do!
The voice acting is superb, and while for whatever reason Tom hanks did not lend his voice for the game, the replacement actor, his brother Jim Hanks, is brilliant. So is Stephen Stanton, the replacement Buzz for Tim Allen. Apart from those two characters, just about all the actors from the movie are in the game. And did I mention how superb the script is? I cannot believe it can actually compete with the movie's script.
Toy Story 3 is so far my favorite game of the year.
