In OAHU DRIVE, forty eight players will compete over four days of intense competition for the top prize and bragging rights as the best Test Drive Unlimited driver on GameSpot. Every race will line up six drivers and only the fastest will advance to the next round for a chance to win a cut of the $1,000 prize package.
And as always, we'll broadcast the Race Finale live on GameSpot Tournament TV! You'll get to see your favorite GameSpot editors and special guests provide commentary on the Finale, as well as interviews with some of the top drivers. Be sure to tune in!

In a closely-fought race, Alfa GT driver Eric Boosman surpassed the competition and took the grand prize in GameSpot’s Oahu Drive tournament for Test Drive Unlimited on the Xbox 360. Boosman will receive a $600 Best Buy gift certificate, thanks to his racing prowess.
The tournament consisted of races on three courses: The Kapalama Race, The Puuni Race, and Ride in Waikiki. Eric won all three races, closely followed by Matthew Ziegler, winner of a $300 Best Buy gift card, and Abdul-Rahman Bakhurji, winner of a $100 card. The elite group of six racers was narrowed down from a pool of 48, and the top three times from each race advanced to the next round.
The first two courses were the Kapalama Race and the Puuni Race. Both races finished quickly, thanks to the skill of the finalists. “It was over before you knew it,” said Tournament TV host Rich Gallup. While Boosman took an early lead in those races, he ran into trouble in the third race, which took place on the longer Ride in Waikiki course. “I got plowed into in the first corner,” said Boosman, who managed to come from behind and still log a decisive win.
Asked about his driving strategy, Boosman said “My whole thing was just to stay away from the other cars.” His strategy obviously paid off, with his closest competitor in the three-race total trailing eight seconds behind.
When asked if he had any final words for GameSpot's viewing audience, Boosman had two important notes: “Don't do drugs. GameSpot rules!”
