This game almost made me cry. I was so looking forward to this game. I loved RTW 1 very much and played about 1000 hrs on each of them, and all the total war games. This game makes me mad. You can not leave armies in your cities like the other ones, you are only limited to a certain amount of army's, which brought me so much anger. So when you get to you max amount of army's you can not make any more armies. I LIKE TO BUILD, I LIKE TO SPEND MONEY, I LIKE A BIG ARMY. So when you play this game you end up with all kinds of money and NOTHING TO DO WITH IT ANY MORE. That is so boring and dragging your armies all over the place is a PAIN IN THE FIST(as you have to punch something). Once you get use to it, it all comes together easy, BUT YOU STILL CAN NOT SPEND YOUR MONEY. I have this big bank account with nothing to spend it on. At least the other games you could buy boats and armies and have so much armies it is crazy and it is fun having such a huge army and building.
I am not sure how many hrs I will put on this game maybe 200, unlike my others 1400 hrs. I may not even get that far. I do like the amount of different units the game has, that at least they made me happy on and each fraction you play is different. BUT keep to empire total war kind of stuff. That game ruled except for they almost all had the same units. You had resources you had to find, SO MUCH BUILDING a HUGE WORLD, and you fight over resources. This game is just boring and a disappointment.....I am very sad. The battles are fun...that is it. Till I bore myself of the battles, this game will be dead. RIP.....my total war game....:(. How can you screw this one up??? They puckered me up as I thought I was going to kiss this game as they said they had so much money to spend on this game. What kind of moron created this game??
