Not Worthy of the "Total War" Title
Rome 2 totally takes it in the direction of worse in my opinion, dumbing down all diplomacy, technology & construction. Although the battles are pretty & fairly enjoyable the campigne side of things is just boring & repeatable. I truly hope the next Total war title comes back to its true form but I am very worried for its respectable future.
Thank goodness for Crusader kings 2 & Europa Universals 4. That's where CReative assembly should be heading. Does anybody remember the Tech Tree from Empire Total War ? That was fun. I also think that was the last game in the series where the diplomacy worked correctly.
All in all I think 40 Hours is the maximum I can put into this game. I have truly tried to like it , but its playability is down to the Mod community now.
