The drama...THE SHEER DRAMA!!!

User Rating: 8.8 | Tony Hawk's Underground PS2
Tony Hawk's Underground is one ambitious game. One game series that was originally a career based skateboarder has now become a story based skater. The game stars "you", a created skater. You and your buddy are a couple of guys (or gal & guy) who like to skate in local areas in New Jersey. After a demo and pep talk from Chad Muska, you then head on to become a pro. But then it turns out your "friend" isn't what he seems to be. The drama is so freakin' good. A new gameplay feature is to actually get off your board so you can climb ladders, grab ledges and run. You can also drive cars, but they control real bad. One very interesting feature that the PS2 version has is...no it's not just online, but you can map your own face in the game to really create "you".

The graphics haven't really changed since THPS4, but that's not necessarily bad. The characters still look good, the levels are little larger and the draw distance is pretty decent. The sound is lead by some solid voice acting and new sound effects, mainly new rail effects. The soundtrack is kind of mediocre and the only good band are the Rubber City Ransoms.

This one pretty good skateboarding game and you should check it out.
