A bit overhyped, some things are hard, some things are easy, it sends me into mixed reactions! :S

When I saw THPG I was all like, "OMG! I like the Tony Hawk Series! I gotz to getz it!" The commercial said, "Choose what you want to do. Choose how you want to skate." or something like that. Well, let's get down to the basics, there are only 3 classes you can follow in, either it being, the Rigger career, the Hardcore career or the Professional career. So what do the 3 classes do? Riggers make ramps or rails that lead up to bigger and sicker lines for skating. The Hardcore, is just concentrated on being a tough douchebag kind of guy, and the Pro class is is photo shoots and Nail the Tricks. The visuals are actually quiet good and the character models look like the best in the Tony Hawk francise. It is very real and street-like model. Story, well, once you choose the career you then have to prove your selfworth as a skater to the other Pros (like all the other TH games)and you learn what the skating style is about. But once you end their story you still get all the other stories to go through, so, the whole, "Choose how you want to skate" is completly blown out of proportion. No! You just go through the story, there is no style you have to choose! Geez... Any ways, controls, there's not really much to say about it, it's like all the other TH games, with some new fancy tricks, they even add the Nail The Grab and Nail the Manual. Which was actually pretty decent! So like the controls for the moves, like I said, it's like all the other TH games so there is really nothing to complain about. But I did like the fact that they still used the D-Pad, instead of the Analog, because for some reason I can't use the Analog with TH games. Am I the only one who actually perfers it that way? Somebody? Any ways, Sound, unfotunately unlike all the other TH games I didn't really like the soundtrack that much, mainly because I wasn't really paying attention to it. So the bottomline is, this game will give you mixed reactions, some good but most of them bad. So, becareful. I warned you!
