Ah, how I loved this game.
I loved the idea of going around wherever I wanted, whenever I wanted. And each area had plenty of ramps and rails to ride, including other ramps that were set up for competitions. While the game is nowhere near realistic, that's what makes it surprisingly good. I'm not a fan of skateboarding by any means, but the presentation and gameplay of the game sucked me in. And I remember this game lasting me for some time.
The graphics were really nothing great, and actually below average. However, the game wasn't designed for that kind of eye candy, and what's there is enough to satisfy. The sound is also on par and maybe a little below average. I didn't really like the soundtrack that much, but the other sound effects in the game sounded great.
Is this a good game? You bet, considering, as I said, I'm not a fan of skateboarding at all and I still loved this game.
