Like every Tony Hawk game, the levels get boring after you've played them for a long time.
Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 2 is probably one of the best sequels to a game ever.
The graphics look excellent. Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1 had good graphics, but Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 2's look much better than the first games' graphics.
The sound is excellent. The soundtrack is very good. Just like every Tony Hawk game. The sounds of skating sound much better and more realistic than the first game.
The controls are excellent. The Ps1 controller is great for a game like THPS 2. The best new addition to this game is the manual. It allows you to get much higher scores that you couldn't get as easily in the first game.
The customization is good. The create-a-park feature is great, because if you ever get tired of the levels that the developer Neversoft made, you can make your own. But, compared to newer games, the create-a-park feature isn't that great, but is still fun. Another addition to THPS 2 is the create-a-skater mode. It's alright, but just like the create-a-park mode, it seems pretty bad compared to newer games, where you have much more customization options.
In conclusion, THPS 2 improves over the original in every way, has a few more new skaters, more secret skaters, and feels more fun to play than the original.
