The last Tony Hawk game to stay by the old, original and brilliant engine.

Let's not beat around the bush here, every Tony Hawk game after this one is a complete mess. Sure, the graphics are better but that doesn't mean they're good. The new engine for the recent games are a mess, and especially the latest title, "Tony Hawk's Ride."

But we're aren't hear to speak about that, oh no, we're hear to speak about American Wasteland, the last Tony Hawk game to follow the old engine. Unlike all the other games though, this one looked far from finished. There are so many glitches, that it's not funny.

Let's talk about the actual story mode. It's easy, no matter what difficulty you do it's easy. Some of the missions are just bullsh*t, and can't be beat unless you get someone to do it for you. I mean, the mission where you have to press "A" repetitively just to knock down a green, small roof. Seriously? Like, what the hell?

Creating your own tag, character and park are great aspects of the game, though you only need to use your tag in one mission. You can't even share your park, unlike in the PS2 version of the game when you play online.

Classic Mode is still the same, trust me. You can easily get the achievements on both LIVE and offline play. The offline achievements are easy, they're even easier with the flipping cheats on. It's a shame how the LIVE community is somewhat dead. But, you don't even need to play LIVE. Just make a game, go to each stage and presto! All LIVE achievements done.

All in all, you should rent this rather than buy it. I bought it in a double pack, along with the game "GUN," which is basically a GTA-clone, but it's a hell of fun. So, if finding funny glitches and a story mode that's really easy is your cup of tea, I'd recommend it.
