An amazing racing game that should be remembered.

User Rating: 8 | International Rally Championship PC
International Rally Championship is one of the earliest racing game I have ever played. As a kid, I had a lot of great time with this amazing game.

The graphics was satisfying enough for a late 90's game, since it is obviously incomparable to today's games such as DIRT 2 or Forza 3. Some may say that NFS3 (which according to gamespot came out the same year) had better graphics, but IRC still looks good enough. On the other hand, IRC had great gameplay value. There's plenty of modes to choose from along with less than 10 playable rallying cars(who cares?) As a sort of arcade racer, IRC also has a "simulation" mode and damage/repair setting which was all pretty ambitious of its time. The soundtrack was great as well.

What's the most awesome part of this game was its "track generator". You can generate random tracks using an in-game tool, by choosing from its environment props type to length to the difficulty of corners. Truly inspiring!
