We got the whole games group together to talk about the games that came out the week of March 4th. GameSpot and Giant Bomb unite!
simcity, just let you know... on 18:07 where these guys attempting to destroy some guy's town with parks, it doesn't save any of your actions you do when you're visiting. so what they did didn't save at all. lol
but putting this aside, IF the server syncs perfectly, it would be so far the best casual simulation game u can enjoy for killing tons of time. But that's not the case. I can't access some cities I built cuz of this server problem. it's very very upsetting.

i love this show.
never watched it before, but the group of guys featured, coupled with the comradery, and with the games they are playing makes it for a very entertaining watch.
the show also gives alot of incite about new releases...such as Simcity. i am a die hard simcity loyalist, and watching kevin play simcity with the 3 other guys commentate it allows the viewer to absorb the information provided, in a light-spirited enviroment.
"Simcity.....ITS BROKEN."
i am definitely looking forward to future episodes, as the show is refined and improved.
as xavor01 said, some segments were rather unprofessional, but that comes with starting and trying new ideas such as this.

How ironic is it that Gamespot is working with Giantbomb, when they fired Jeff Gerstmann over the Kane & Lynch review scandal, and now they are partnering with the company he founded in response. Kind of like when Disney fired John Lasseter when he wanted to try 3D animation, then he starts Pixar, which Disney ended up spending 7 billion dollars to buy them. Sweet revenge! Lesson learned: Don't fire talented people for poor reasons.

@chicknfeet For all we know...GB might simply be the acronym for their staple diet, "Gut Bomb". They hired Patrick and he's still thin either because a) he's a rookie with them or b) he's invincible, impervious to "gut bombs" and they can't even confuse him by changing Gut to Giant. That's how even gamers can have superpowers...impressive.
@chicknfeet Neither are Vinny, Drew, Alex, Alexis, or Dave, and although Brad has a bit of a pudge going on he's far from fat. So I wouldn't call two out of the entire crew fat. Also, Jeff's been starting to slim down(although he still has a homer belly)

I loved this show. GB are kind of like GS UK with their looser style (although both are still different in their own way). It's great to see that rub over to GS US here in this vid. Please do this more often! Also, glad to hear about an upcoming Lost in Levels in Japan. Exactly what I was asking for :)
1 Like I remember playing baseball videogames with 3 buttons and a directional pad, baseball games are so much more complicated to play now days.

Damn I hate when I change the res it restarts and needs to reload but you cant skip ahead...I was 30 mins in and changed it...

Even if it worked properly, this is not the best Sim City. This is an ok Sim City. But even if you were able to get in.. this is not the pinnacle Sim City"

You guys are BLOODY LUCKY to be able to play Simcity. I played it for 12 hours the first day it came out, made three good cities, logged in the next day and the entire region was wiped clean. five minutes later, the game crashed and that was the last time i could log on to the server and play.
