This game is amazing! I've played my share of Tomb raider games and all the Uncharted games. The game feels like a movie, and theres a lot of stuff that happens to Lara that makes you cringe. The gun upgrades were noticably fun, the bow is a joy to use. Puzzles are fun, but nothing that'll get people stuck. There's a lot of quick time events in this game along with cutscenes, but it only helps you get more immersed in the story. The story starts with a very naive and relatively young Lara, so she isn't really battle hardened at the start of the series. She doesn't feel all too familiar at the beginning, but later on you start to realize that the story is about her evolution, and what fuels to become the tenacious and gritty survivor we expected her to become. Something a lot of Tomb Raider veterans will miss is the dual wielding pistols that we're accustomed to for Lara (although it does make a guest appearance). There are certain things that may frustrate certain players like running into "roped" doors, crates and flamable torches that cannot be moved prior to acquiring specific tools. That may confuse players a bit. Overall though, the story is very engrossing, and I enjoyed it very much, and i bet most fans of adventure/platformer games will too. I recommend renting this game however, because the replay value wears off very fast, and the multiplayer is negligible. Gathering collectibles barely has any incentives other than simply for the sake of expanding on the tale. I finished roughly 75% of the game, and found little reason to go hunting for GPS coordinates. Just raid the tombs and read the books, if u care about the story.
