Nice level design, crippled by unresponding controls. Difficulty hard should have been called normal.

I considered Tomb Raider series to be done and buried. This game could save it... The levels are nicely designed, letting you feel the place. Everything is breathing.
The enemies are each having a little bit different attacks. Attacks of some you have avoid by jumping, while other by rolling, some to the sides, some to the back... and the button for hand to hand combat is also useful (kinda rare these days).
The story wasn't that bad either. But I couldn't decide if Lara is a man or a woman (if it werent for the boobs, I would guess man), because the way she behaves... Nah. I dont like chicks like that. They are in the movies and its like watching dog ride a bike. Unnatural.
But all of this stuff would still earn it 7-8 rating.
What killed the game, was the controls. Sometimes Lara did nothing, sometimes she started walking in another direction to stop turn after few steps in the right direction. I quit the game without finishing, after I died 20 times in a row. I was trying to walk on a chain, which was slowly moving into a hole in a wall. What killed me? Lara simply stopped after few steps (sometimes she made one, sometimes she made it almost to the end)... after that followed the fall of course.
I have better things to do, then attempting this kind of a game.
