Another break buster by Eidos
The first thing I noticed is that, although the game still had those polygons we remembered from the old games, the graphics actually did improve already. In only a few years there has been an improvement on the water effects and environment.
Not only does everything around our heroin look better, but Lara herself had a little tuck here and there. Her hair is no longer in a bun, but is actually dynamic according to how she moves. And the best of all, her boobs are no longer triangular.
The game takes us through 17 levels of almost impossible puzzles. It takes us from Vennes to China and introduces us to a few new creatures, and villains. From Monks, Shooters, dogs and animated Statues. And again, an arrange of weapons are available.
It was a great game for it's time, and I think it actually is holding it's ground between the latest games. It was good seeing Lara in some different environments and in some different clothing as well. Awesome. TR 3 is next on my TR list. After a little TR break of course.
