If you didn´t like Tomb Raider the first part you have to try Tomb Raider II because the second part is 100% better. Tomb Raider II starts with the sequence which shows China (probably the Qin dynasty): An army is defending the land against a huge dragon. It seems that no one can defeat. One wounded warrior recognizes a dagger which sticks on the dragon´s chest. He pulls the mysterious dagger and gets killed by the dragon. Nonetheless the skin of the dragon sloughs from its bones, the monster falls and is finally defeated. The warriors find out that the dagger is part of an altar of their catacombs. Just as they put the dagger on its original place a light blends them and closes the doors of the catacombs forever. The Dagger of Xian is on back on its true place.Present time: Lara Croft arrives Xians Great Wall of China, she investigates the case about the mysterious dagger. During her travel through Venice, Highlands of Tibet and Xians catacombs. Not to forget lost and lifeless locations like Wreck of the Maria Doria: All 18 levels of TRII demand real patient as well as a clear mind. Holding on a ladder, then jumping back, make a turn in the air and hold in the right moment the ladder on the opposite wall while fire is burning under you. All those activities in only four to five seconds. That would be the easiest part of the level. You see, the stunts and riddles can be tricky sometimes. It also might be interesting to be killed by a yeti? But most impressive are levels like "Temple of Xian" or the "Floating Islands" that give almost infinite possibilities to pursue. Together with an awesome soundtrack and fascinating story Tomb Raider II The Dagger of Xian is a must for adventurers. And if this doesn´t inspire you, you have still the possibility to visit Laras huge house for some training, exploring the garden labyrinth or just taking a swim in the pool.
