Brilliant... Brilliant... why have they done that?!

This is so frustrating… So much effort went into this game and I can see it, they worked hard on the graphics, voice acting, missions, map (though it is a little repetitive) , story is a little cliché but I can live with it, character progression is good, wide range of weapons, the dark stories and video clips are chilling, your character past the beginning levels can die in 2-3 hits which I think is great and adds to the tension and need for tactics.

And none of it matters because every PvE mission is wrecked by something which should never have been an issue.

I want to set the scene for you, you’re in a sewer, you have a group of enemy combatants in your sight, they don’t know where you are, you drop your state of the art seeker bomb it rolls to them and explodes killing all but one

Not only does he immediately know exactly where you are (which is impossible)… he is also for some god for knows reason immortal. You can shoot him 50-100 times and he will be totally fine. If this was destiny or halo I could accept this as they are aliens with shields… but no… this is a normal human who for some reason is immune to bullets and explosions...

And it is so bad it is game-breaking, what on earth is the point of tactics when someone can just run in to me behind my cover and take a full round of machine gun fire to the face without even slowing down.

It is a cowardly cop-out by some lazy designer who could not be bothered making difficult combat scenarios like I’d expect from battlefield or call of duty and instead decided making normal humans immortal in an rpg would be fine.

Please note… this is not a whiney review wanting to make the game easier… this is a review where I'm angry that some developer was lazy and added immortals to a dark gritty rpg… its ridiculous and ruins an otherwise wonderful game… note this is at same level as the NPC with reasonable levelled gear… but even if it wasn't I do not care… if you make a realistic tactical rpg it is the most basic requirement that everyone dies when they get shot.
