This was my first try with using stealth, so it took a great deal of patience after putting the game down for a little while. I was hooked after I tried it again, loved playing this game with the lights out because I felt like I was Sam Fisher. Did I overrate this game, maybe, but the story and gameplay were so innovating that I would really find myself having to THINK about planning ahead, and staying a step ahead of my opponents...especially when Sam can't kill anyone. The sniper rifle was my weapon of choice in this game, as was the sticky shocker to knock out opponents. The game has a nice realistic appeal to it, for example, it takes about 2-3 shots to kill you, unlike in Medal of Honor, it takes like 50 and a grenade blast. The enemies are pretty smart so you gotta put the brain to work and make sure you are in a clean state of mind. Hopefully, the makers on this game can make a solid sequel, it would be a shame to associate Splinter Cell as a one hit wonder.
