Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell: Conviction User Review

- "Immersive"
The production values of this game rank right up there with the best. I would rate this on par with Metal Gear Solid 4 and Grand Theft Auto 4. It's the first game I can honestly say is a 'playable movie'.
Sam Fisher is an extremely convicing 'badass' good guy. Although this is only my first time playing a Splinter Cell game, I'm completely sold on the character. He is like a cross between a Daniel Craig-James Bond and Liam Neeson's character from Taken. Graphics are phenomenal. Amazing to see the XBOX360 capable of spitting out such beautiful textures on 5 year old hardware. Voice acting is very good, there are no big names but it's more than passable.
The only possible gripe I could think of is the control scheme. There is no option to customize it and it feels unwieldy at first. It does take several sessions to get the hang of. Hopefully Ubisoft will allow this in the next game.
Buy this game if you haven't already. It will leave a long lasting impression.

A superbly superb game in its own right but not so great as a Splinter Cell game. You'll love the mark and execute :)
