Splinter Cell:Conviction is a game that you have to agree with what it changes from previous games to enjoy it. The reason why I say that is because unless you haven't seen anything on this game and how it's different here's what's new. First of all movement speed/ noise doesn't matter, it's all about clearing the room by shooting everyone, very basic stealth. Pretty much the game isn't about not setting off alarms and taking out your targets with a tactic all it really is that you go into a room and use the environment to your advantage. No more throwing cans to distract and no walking slowly on metal so your not heard. This change might turn off a lot of Splinter Cell veterans (it turned me off at first). But once I got the demo for it I instantly went out and pre-ordered it. Pretty much what I'm saying is that at least you should try it.

Good:
-Fast paced stealth can bring some new less patient players to this series and could bring some variety to the stealth genre. After all if you want slow stealth go buy Thief 2.
-Character models and animations look good
-COOP is really fun but only with someone you know/ trust
-Upgrade system for guns had me coming back completing challenges to upgrade everything.

Bad:
-Guards are really dumb even on realistic difficulty
-Graphics are out dated (except mentioned above items)
-Single player is really short
-Guns except pistols are useless (Pistols are silenced and have infinite ammo)

Pretty much what I'm saying is to and the VERY VERY least get the demo if not rent it. If you enjoy it then go get a copy for yourself!
