Great game but not worth buying if youve already bought the original.

It can be tense but thats all.
If, however you go into the game expecting an action game like halo or gears of war, you will find this a highly enjoyable shooter.
The main game follows Chris Redfeild and Sheva Alomar as they fight their way through hoards of 'majiini' (basically zombies).
These are infected natives of africa, very similair to the spanish ones in Resi4
Who can be shot in the knee to trip them over but take quite a few bullets before biting the dust.
There has been an often pointless cover system implemented in the game, but the develpors have manged to fail at this magnificiently by making it that you can only take cover at certain points and cant move along said peice of cover at all.
There are multiple firearms that can be used blast these zombies to hell from shotguns to machineguns to GATLING GUNS!!!
Unfortunately, while aiming these guns, you cant actually move your character which I thinks supposed to add tension but is really annoying at times.
Another minus, that the grizzly shop keeper from resi 4 has dissapeared entirely, instead you can only access the shop from save points.
One argument for this could be that it wouldnt make sense for him to be in africa, however a certain gigantic foe makes a return from resi 4, which is strangely out of place and seems to have been put there purely for fan service.
One of the games strong points are its truly sublime graphics which are arguably the best weve seen on the 360 which, unlike games like gears of war which have great graphics, but only seem to cover drab greys and browns, this game has vibrant yellows and deep blues, its truly wonderful to behold.
One part of the game that is highly debated is the coop mode.
Some say that playing with a partner lowers the scare factor but personally I find it incredibally fun playing with a mate, as the AI is far from perfect.
Unfortunatelly even when playing single player you'll have an AI partner tagging along, while I personally think that it would be great to be able to have the ability to choose if the AI tagged along or not.
Overall its a highly enjoyable shooter with great graphics and a few flaws
