Savetehaloz reviews Rainbow Six Vegas, one of the best tactical shooters he has played to date.

User Rating: 9 | Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Vegas X360
Rainbow Six Vegas is just plain fun. From the weapons to the multiplayer features, this game is a must play for anyone who likes shooters.

Gameplay
The singleplayer story is ok, but not epic as the Halo series. Vegas is a tactical shooter, therefore any Halo running and gunning will get you killed quickly. You have the ability to peek and shoot around corners. You are given command over 2 other special forces men, who will respond to your many commands. The AI isn't that bad, as I've noticed very few "dumb AI" moments. The weapons available in the game are beautiful and varied, ranging from MP5s, Desert Eagles, AK47s to even a Raging Bull. However, I was hoping for a gun from the M16 family. The multiplayer in Rainbow Six Vegas is excellent and gives the player a wide range of choices in customizing his character; even giving him the ability to use his own face.

Graphics
The graphics are excellent and pleasant to the eye. The Las Vegas environment is well modeled, but no real life casinos are featured due to obvious reasons. The weapons are well modeled and are a pleasure to use. All in all, the game looks outstanding on the Xbox 360.

Sound
The music in the game is great and fits the theme well. The gun sounds pack a punch and the communication between the player and his AI buddies is constant.

Conclusion
Rainbow Six Vegas is an excellent game that delivers in most aspects. Even though the story is mediocre and leaves the player with a cliffhanger, the game's well executed design and beautiful weapons make this game a must to any FPS collection.
