One of the worst games I have ever played. Honestly. Read this before you buy or even rent this waste of money.
The single player is awful. Clunky controls. There is no tutorial whatsoever, so they pretty much drop you off and tell you to kill people. The only way to beat it on normal is to use your guinea pig teammates who will frustrate you to no end by going down or dying or killing the person you need alive. Very dry story. Really no specific story besides there are bad guys and they're going to kill innocent people unless you stop them. You will find yourself being shot and never finding out who shot you many, many, many times.
Graphics are more than a disaster. They make me want to puke. I've played PS2 games with better graphics. The levels are stupid and unimaginative. One is actually a big advertisement for MLG. The whole level. Says MLG (Major League Gaming) on EVERYTHING. It is at an "MLG convention" AKA excuse to advertise. I found this very distasteful.
The multiplayer is atrocious. Horrible matchmaking. Most will find it difficult to get into a lobby at all, only to find yourself being spawn killed or not knowing how to play. No killcam. A lot of grenades. A lot of hipfire assault rifle snipers that spawn farm you. yes. that exists in this pitiful excuse for a game.
Terrorist Hunt is by far the best part of this game, and yet is still god awful and just gross to play. Terrorists will have unreasonably good weapons. They can see through walls, so stealth is automatically out of the question. You will find yourself wanting to snap the disc in half and throw it in a fire after getting killed from the seemingly infinite amount of terrorists who can see you when you cannot see them. And you will never find out where they were with the lack of killcam. Terrorists will walk up to your cover, and while you are frantically trying to blindfire kill them as you are supposed to they will walk past your blindfire, and the instant they get a line of sight to you hiding behind your cover you will be dead. I mean the absolute instant.
The controls take getting used to, if you can get used to taking cover with LT and aiming down sights with the R3 button. Yes, the R3 button. Throw grenades with B. its just ridiculous that you cannot adjust it more than changing a few minor details in 4 preset button controls.
So in conclusion, I hate this game, and disregard anyone else because they are wrong. You hate this game too. Don't buy it. Please.
