Great and immersive tactical shooter, lets you control several squads, but isn't that easy to do.

I have played this game like 10 years before, so I don't remember all things. If I write something wrong please bear in mind that I haven't touched this game for all that time. I never played it in multiplayer, just single player.

From what I remember, It was my first tactical shooter I've played and it was great. The graphics were amazing and it was pretty fun going with your squad and killing enemies. The realism settings is something to consider: you cannot run fearlessly into a mob of enemies, they will crush you. A few shots and you are dead.

So you have to carefully plan your strategy and act as a special force leader, not as Rambo killing everything alone. It won't work. It requires some thinking and a few trial and error for accomplishing missions with all or most of your teammates alive. You can select teammates from a large roster of characters with different stats and specialization. If a teammate dies, its forever. So the less casualties the better. You can replace your teammates with 'reserved soldiers' which are standard soldiers that specializes in nothing and have much lower stats than the rest of the characters, but they don't die like the normal characters. After the mission ends, if a reserved soldier dies its replaced with another one.

Before each mission you have a standard pre-stablished strategy for all your squads which you can customize it and if you want, to change it completely. But this is a tedious and hard task so I always use the standard plan which isn't bad at all.

Also before each mission you can choose the weapons your squads will have. The weapons are plentiful. You can choose between shotguns, sub-machine guns, sniper rifles, pistols and machine-guns. Plus tactical equipment like flash-bangs, grenades, door-breaching explosives, etc.

Graphics:
They are good overall. Just the blood is annoying. It looks like 60% transparent like blood mixed with a lot of water.

Sound:
Pretty standard. Nothing bad but nothing outstanding also.

Gameplay:
Solid tactical mechanics. The first person view lacks the gun showing. I really hated this. I would prefer the weapon to show up.

In conclusion is a fun tactical shooter that requires you to think before you act.
