User Rating: 7.8 | Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six: Lockdown MOBI
"Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six: Lockdown", from producer and developer "Gameloft", is a fun, well thought out, strategy game for the mobile phone. There is no dought that "GameLoft" took a lot care and attention to the games development. Making it a solid, amazingly fun game for Mobile. However, a few problems do get in the way of this otherwise amazing experience.

After a greeting from a female news ancor ( reminicent of the begining of "War of the Worlds", another good game from "GameLoft" ), you gain control of a tactical force team called "Rainbow Six". Set in the mid-eastern county areas. You, as the Rainbow Six, must take down a terriorist organization called GLF ( Global Liberation Front ) who has been terrorizing citizens.

The playablility and gameplay of "Lockdown" is the best part of the game. You move the team around and control there actions with the cursor, as well as shoot enemies. Giving the game a more console shooter feel. With the ability of using frag grenades, flash grenades, and more little kinks to the gameplay. That it soon looses its mobile feel, and becomes more of a console experience.

Yet, the presentation of the game isnt very good. It looks ok, yet it looks a little more low-res then other mobile games on the market. And could have been done better. The sound on the other hand, is very good, but about average.

Though the game is very fun to play. The game is only about one-to-two hours long. Each level is no longer then around fifteen minutes long, and some are a whole lot shorter. Consisting of only eight levels, you will have wished that the game was longer. However, an option to replay those levels and best your time is a good addition that really helps the games overall replayability.

Overall, "Lockdown" is a very good mobile game. Its enjoyable and fun. Yet, some problems that lie in the game, do take away from the overall experience.
