My first aircraft game. and its a Terrific game!

Will this support cockpit view, and will it support a joystick being used? ( I have a Thrustmaster Cougar). Also, I wonder if it will support TrackIR--probably not I'm thinking. Anyways, cockpit view option, and joystick support would be minimum requirements for me to buy this game. It would have been better IMO if they had made the aircraft physics/handlining more true to life as seen in a sim such as LockOn--I doubt true flight sim enthusiasts will take much interest in this.

love the pc demo, got the game coming in the next few days, for those with problems that i have read, missles firing on their own, turn the voice function off, on the pc this is glitchy as hell in the demo, it picks up my breath as fire, to pinkdog23, i can line up, fire and kill just fine, the game isn't supposed to be easy but you can be sure it is playable, just try adjusting your aim a little, you may have a lock but the missle won't hit unless you have the right firing angle, it will take some practice but you'll get there, keep working at it.

the pc demo is so hard when u try to kill people the missile never hits them even in self aiming and my cursor is red i was going to buy this game for multiplayer but now i dont know

nah the 3rd person works fine in the demo just takes a little getting used to.... i use a stick to fly though, havent tried mouse and keyboard i dont like how the emp blast (you can see it towards the end) sends you straight down, seems way too unrealistic, ok that its not very realistic to begin with but that seems to push it a bit

Just a question, in your hawx pc demo when you are in 3rd person, the aircraft launches missiles by him self? Mine do that sometimes.. it is bug or something? lol kind of weird

This Game Is Epic. everything bout it is purely awsome. i have played the demo and am going to pre-order it tomorow!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i would like to see better damage physics such as broken wings and parts exploding

the view that theyre using in the videos is stupid, i dont see any point in using it over 1st person, poor choice. havent played the demo so i might just rent b4 i buy

I'm not sold on the new control scheme but multiplayer looks interesting. I love Ace Combat and I like the Clancy games. I hope this one turns out good.

skylinx There is an assist camera, it will be behind the plane, or also in FP view or in the cockpit, i've played the demo, you have to press 2 times the R2 or the L2 in the PS3 controller I can't wait for his game, i'm gonna buy it very soon!! Look awsome and as i said, i've played the demo, i play it over and over.

man this game is such a dissapointment, whats up with that retarded no assist view, feels like you're flying an armed kite. that ruins the entire game, you can't get 100% control of your jet unless you're in that view.

Finally a non-japanese made flight game thats faster paced than AC6 and without that crappy cheesy dialogue.

Even Ace Combat on PS1 rocks ! But I think this will rock too :]

it definitely won't beat Ace Combat I tried the demo and the targeting was just a mess for me...put any more than one enemy on the screen and it becomes a real challenge just to select the target you actually want to get

This looks like a total pile of balls, it doesn't even look fun unrealistic it just looks like balls but thats just my opinion

I just downloaded the demo on xbox live and its one of the best tom clansy games out.

is there a cockpit view? and can I use the Ace flight sticks?

afrosud12, i`ve got to ask ya: did you ever play a game from the flying genre? well i have played all the games in the ace combat series (except ac 6))and i have to say the one stick approach IS NOT RETARDED but then again i can`t say the same thing about your comment. do some more research before posting or should i say :play more games in this genre! lol played the demo on my ps3 and the graphics ,controls and the feel of the fighter jets are just as good as in ace combat games the guys from ubisoft romania have done a good job in improving a lot of things since their blazing angels series ( for the record :i did not like those 2 blazing angels games and i had my doubts about the hawx.But this one might be the ace combat substitute the ps3 owners like me where waiting for!)

The game controls are downright awful and the camera is terrible!

This is the first time I'm ever getting even remotely excited about a flying game.

If you can't control your plane in safety off mode you shouldn't play then, its easy enough, just take some time to get used to it, i'm buying this on the first day its out, and looking forward to multiplayer

refreshed 4 times in HD and still got no picture, works fine in SD tho. Though to be honest, I wouldn't consider 540p "HD"

There are lots of glitches in the demo though. I hope it'll be good cause it'll be the only flying game for a long time
