1 Like @yasso Yeah but sometimes releasing on a PC is super annoying and sometimes not worth it. There are hackers that are way more potent on the PC than consoles. People will also recieve hack/steal/crack their own free PC copy of the game. There's a lot of repercussions that come with releasing a game on the PC. I get what you're saying, but the loss is more on their side than ours.
I think I'll be buying this one. I need something new to play than just Battlefield 3 and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3. I mean come on, they get boring over time. I don't care how good an FPS is, its multiplayer gets boring after a few months.

sounds alot like bf3 with a cover system. Team play and getting your vision blurred when suppressed made me think of bf3 right when he said that.
I was excited about playing this game, until I watched this video. This game comes out about a year late, not just because they delayed it, but because there is a beauty called BF3 out there. I said it before, and I'll say it again: when a video game is delayed more than once, it's going to dissapoint BIG. P.D. And I was expecting to play it on PC, so not a chance with me.
All was very exciting and fine until you, Sir, said that it will only be available on X360 and PS3, thus NOT on the PC. Guess what? I own both: the PS3 and the X360. However, I simply refuse to play a first-person shooter or competitive multiplayer shooter (whether 1st or 3rd person) without a mouse; it's as simple as that. I have tried it before, and have finished Halo, Killzone, etc, but I've never had as much fun or felt as skilled and in control as when I play an FPS or competitive shooter on my PC, using the good ol' mouse and keyboard. Thus, I'm passing on your game, not buying it, not even trying it; that's a promise. Remember to include the PC in your releases, or you're losing out on customers like me, thinking that your console "exclusivity" is more profitable.
Just realized something. After looking @ the cover, and how much electric equiment they use.......wow......it must suck to be EMP-d.
Gotta admit this game has held its standard since the very 1st. Nothing like Combat, Intelligence and Teamwork. cover systems fantastic. :) Love the "supression" field of view...nothing like stress underfire. Well done UBISOFT. btw, Glad R6 is coming back.
@Drano5050 But few games got more dumbed down than the Ghost Recon series after 2. The amount of handholding is ridiculous and completely ruins the immersion. I've played since the first and it seems to have only gone downhill from there.
@Hellavation Yea i'm also pretty skeptical about how today's world full of fanboys will take to such an orginal game. Everybody's so caught up in the BF3 vs. MW3 drama. Don't get my wrong, it's all good and fun. I'm a true gamer so I'm still gonna play those games, but that's not gonna keep me from games like this where you strategically have to think about your actions other than just pressing buttons, acting off of impulse. Every now and then you need something different, that's why I'm really looking forward to another ghost recon.

Wow! This is what you call innovation! Just when I thought that every Shooter has become so generic.
It's 3rd person shooter so that's mean your own body will block some of your vision and first erson shooter have a closer look to the enmies, socom and clancy should start doing first person shooter...

Man the multiplayer is going to be insane in this game but will players embrace it is the guestion?
I am looking foward to get this game. I like the concept of advaced technology, and strategy team work.
battlefield 3 is still going to be a better warfare shooter but I do like some of the concepts in this game and I like the squad tactics shooters nowadays just seem to fail to grasp this idea in a game the last shooter I played like that was rainbow six vegas
I'm thinking when he didn't mention PC, it was just an oversight. According to the UBI website, it will be on PC.
Looks REAL good, but they shouldn't have kept the name. This doesn't remind me of Ghost Recon. And they better have ragdoll instead of some stupid death animations (like in this video) in the final product.
