Why does this futuristic shooter from Ubisoft seem so ancient and old fashioned??

Blending action with weird gadgetry, a lackluster storyline and clumsy AI isn't that difficult; thankfully Ghost Recon has its feet firmly set on the ground in these areas:

Ghost Recon: Future Soldier review
Love:

The box cover art
The cool Visors

Hate:

Almost everything else
Clumsy AI
(either too smart or too stoopid)
The graphics are pre-historic
Uninspired story which doesn't make you care for your squad mates or the cause they're fighting for

To sum it up this game looks like something that could've been released on PS2. Was to disgusted to even beat the game. With all the first person military shooters out there this game is a complete waste of time. Not to mention theres nothing memorable about the gunfights. I'm surprised I even wrote this much (Gamespot forced me to use 800 characters) Good 800 exactly!

  Ghost Recon is a great game due to more focus on teamwork and stealth. The variety of elements in the game is nice too.
