First impression:

As usual, first I crank up the resolution and video quality settings to the max, as my computer usually handles every game I throw at it without a hitch.

Starting the campaign. Realizing as the intro video starts that I was too optimistic, and the game stutters like crazy. Ok, trying to get back into the options menu to optimize. Nope, can't.

Wait 5 minutes for a boring non-skippable intro sequence to finish in 10FPS, before I can have roughly 30 seconds of stuttery gameplay that ends with another lengthy boring video sequence that lasts five more minues.

Ok, finally I could get to the real game, but it's completely unplayable due to poor framerate so I decide to quit and change the video settings. Going from 2560x1600 to 1280x1024. Wait for loading.. nope.. Still stuttery..

Long story short, after about one hour later with painfully testing and trying all kinds of settings I had tweaked the game to a state where the framerate made it playable. But at this point I was already pretty fed up, and the game looks like something from the early 2000..

I played for a while, and it is your typical run of the mill shooter that practically plays itself. You can just duck behind cover and wait for your CPU controlled teammates to clear everything if you want. Your tech gizmos makes it so easy to play, you need absolutely no skills whatsoever. You ahve all kinds of superpowers, like xray vision and what not. Completely taking the tactical part out of the equation, the gizmos makes it too easy.

Before I could move further to see if there was more challenging stuff ahead, the game crashed.

Needless to say, complete waste of money. This is a rushed port of a mediocre game to squeeze out some more money from the PC version. Horribly optimized, and as boring, linear and dumbed down as it gets.

This is a pretty poor review to, admittedly, but I don't even want to waste time writing a proper one. Just don't buy this game, for technical issues and for its poor watered out gameplay. It's just another rape of a good brand name.
